A well-cared shoe outlives the wearer.
Five minutes a week. That's all it takes to make an Edlaro pair last twenty years.
The Routine
After every wear
Brush with a horsehair brush. Insert cedar shoe trees within an hour to absorb moisture and hold shape.
Every 4–6 wears
Apply a thin layer of neutral cream conditioner. Let rest overnight. Brush off in the morning.
Monthly
Polish with a matching wax. Two thin coats, brushed between. Buff with a soft cloth.
Every 18–24 months
Recondition with a deep leather balm. Inspect edges and heel wear.
When the sole wears through
Send to us. We will replace the sole unit at cost.
Do
- ✓Rotate at least two pairs — never wear the same shoe two days running.
- ✓Use cedar trees, not plastic. Cedar wicks moisture and prevents creasing.
- ✓Dry naturally and slowly. Heat damages leather permanently.
- ✓Treat suede with a soft brass-bristle brush only, never water.
Don't
- ✕Don't dry near a radiator, heater or sun.
- ✕Don't use silicone-based sprays — they suffocate the grain.
- ✕Don't ignore early sole wear. The longer you wait, the more expensive the rebuild.
- ✕Don't store in plastic bags. Cotton dust covers or open shelving only.
